Is it any wonder why so many people will end up in hell? They look around and see so many religions and say wow there must be one out there I can agree with and thus get to heaven. Then there are those who just have no clue at all and do not care because they think there isn't any God so why bother.
For those seeking salvation and not looking for their own way to heaven the scriptures are the complete will of God for man. We know and understand that there is only one way to reach the ultimate goal of a home in heaven. Joh 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christ taught and His apostles taught the way to true salvation. Satan plays on mans emotions to deceive people into believing error, Satan also uses mans intellect to deceive man into believing there is no God at all. God on the other hand has given man written instruction and guidance to follow so that man can be saved from the pit of hell. Through the Holy Spirit the apostles were guided into all truth and that truth was recorded so that man always had a way of knowing Gods will. Read the words of John and you can not mistake the simplicity of this truth….. 1Jn 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jn 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
We must once again start teaching people that the way to heaven can only be found in doing the will of God and by following His instructions. The old saying you get to heaven your way I will get there mine is far more popular today than ever before. Christians know better and should be teaching others Gods way. God did not create the Baptist church, Catholic church, Methodist church or any other church but His own. All these man made churches and their false doctrines of men are leading many straight to hell.
We need to be teaching today as they did in the first century. Jesus tells us this. Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The only way to find the straight gate and narrow way is to study the word learn and apply its principles and then live by it daily.
Friends I ask you how many more souls must be lost to hell before we stand up and teach others the truth? If you are striving to teach great and may god bless you. If you are sitting there warming your pew how many will be lost because you didn't love them enough to tell them?
